Ciardis Weathervane fought for the living dead and won. But worse than taking on a mass murderer, was her discovery that she had been deceived by her friends. Now she needs to not only fight a war in the North and survive, but also decide where she stands in the midst of competing sides.
A threat to all she holds dear lies in the North and her heart is not the only thing she might lose. A massive army awaits in the mountain pass, surging closer to the gates of the southern lands. Nothing the Algardis army has done so far has dissuaded their march forward and Ciardis finds out that her powers to enhance are needed now more than ever.
As she faces her greatest fears on the battlefields and her heart is torn between her love of Sebastian and loyalty to her family, Ciardis must choose her fate carefully. For in her path, lies the destiny of the empire.
This third novel continues the story of Ciardis Weathervane from Sworn To Transfer.

~~~Kj's Review~~~
Sworn To Conflict takes up right where Sworn To Transfer left off, making it an easy jump right back into the story. Ciardis, after being transported to the northern front is confused as to where she is, and just why. She ends up having to rest to get over the depletion of her magic, and when she wakes up, Sebastian is there with lots of questions. As are others, who don’t have the purest of intentions. Ciardis discovers a lot of truths in this book, about her family, and others. Will she lose her mind, or will she become stronger, and step up to be the woman we all know she can be?
The adventure really picks up in this book, taking us into new places, and we meet fantastic people, both good and bad. Ciardis, as usual, goes slap bang into things, and ends up in trouble again, and again. That is what makes this book so endearing to me, that Ciardis is so human with her emotions, and is always just charging ahead, but only for the good.
I love this series, I cannot stress that enough. It makes me so happy, and I want more, more, more. Terah Edun has created a character so real that it's easy to fall in love with her. We root for her, cry for her, get angry with her, and just plain love to read about her. I do recommend this book highly, it’s a wonderfully crafted story that takes you into a world that you will never want to leave. Thank you Terah for giving yet me another wonderful book to treasure forever.
