Where to start? I LOVED this book! I’ve been a fan of the world and characters since I read The Rise of Xosha. Though much has changed since the storyline in that book, the characters still have the same quirky attitudes and the new characters fit right in.
The romance between Katalina Anastasia DarkLaw and Silver Von’Dyre is so steamy, you might need to wait until the children are asleep to read it. I know I felt like taking a cold shower a couple of times.
Granted, I wanted to fling the book across the room at the end, it was a really great read and I am eagerly awaiting the next in these series’.
I give Abomination 5 stars for being genuinely unique and of great quality. I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys the paranormal or fantasy or paranormal fantasy genres. It’s full of humor and suspense and f-bombs, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

 I have to say that Gen amused me from the moment she was throwing her ex boyfriends clothes out the window right down to the pretend boyfriend to try and make her family leave her alone. Her sister Cat managed to hook her up with a guy that just wasn’t her type at all and thought it was great. After all you don’t upset the very pregnant  woman.. When Gen met Matt, well he was everything she wanted but neither of them was ready for a new relationship. When her sister announced she was getting married and that the ex was the best man Gen knew she was in for a rough time. Matt made a great fake boyfriend, but was it all really fake? 

 I truly enjoyed this book, it was very well written and the characters believable. I think another thing that drew me into this book was the family aspect. It was truly wonderful that her family with all their attitudes and ideas about what should be was dead on. I recommend this book highly. I cannot wait for the next in the series as I see that it continues on in the family. So excited!! Thanks to Niecy Roy for giving me her book to read and review, it was the best!

The story itself is a unique one. Bryan has taken epic fantasy and breathed new life in it.
The story put me in mind of The Legend of Drizzt, with a patchwork quilt of characters all working together to rid their land of evil. The characters of all different and some are a bit funny. I found Orindyll to be quite eccentric.
I liked the whole outlaw of magic thing which makes things a lot harder for the heroes since most of them use magic, and magic is needed to defeat the enemy.
The book ends on a slight cliffhanger making the reader eager to Spring Dawn Rising which is the conclusion to this part of the series.
The story has tons of action and the reader will continue to read well past the time they should have gone to sleep.

 When I first started reading this, I felt like it was not really my kind of book. Boy was I wrong, the further I got the more I was pulled into the story. This is indeed a true love story that moves throughout time and history. She recognized him as her mate as he slipped through a portal, banished with his brothers for life. She goes to the Oracle to ask for a chance to know him and a deal is struck. From one death to another, from one era to another, Cyrenna hopes to change her future to include Tynan. In the end, it becomes up to Tynan to find her. Will the two ever get to be together?

 This book was wonderfully written and I recommend it highly. It is one of those books that you will read again and again. I will be looking into some of the history found in the book, I want to know more of the places these two go through. Aedan definitely has a way of making his words wrap around you and keep you fully involved. I will patiently wait for the second book and haunt Aedan Byrnes to make sure I don’t miss a thing. Thanks for the wonderful book, it was a pleasure to read and review.
