Character Bios-

Kay Oliver (Kandace Callahan) - Kay doesn’t remember her life before coming to live in the little North Western port town of Harrow Haves. She doesn’t remember the fire, moving here, or marrying Steven Oliver, but it must all be true. To most people she seems to be happy and content with her life because she is always smiling, but there is something dark and lost behind her eyes that only her husband really notices. She keeps her hair cut short and dyed black. The exact color is Galactic Black Prism. She drinks a lot of wine and has to be reminded daily to take her pills. She works at a souvenir shop on the docks, but very few people ever come in.

Steven Oliver (Steven Howard) - Has been in love with Kay almost since the moment he met her, but he has done many reprehensible things in the past few years in the name of science. Things that Kay would never forgive him for. If she could remember. His research comes first, but he will use that research to make sure that Kay stays with him if he has to. He would do anything for her, to keep her. He is really quite selfish. He was an ER surgeon before they moved to Harrow Haves. Now he runs the ER that he built when the previous doctor mysteriously disappeared.

Timothy Sanders - Timothy is a private detective, commissioned by Kandace Callahan’s family to find their sister who has been missing for three years. He took the job mostly because he needed the money, and he was being offered a lot. He was evicted from his apartment the day he left, but it doesn’t really matter. He doesn’t want to go back there any way. Several years ago he was engaged to a woman who left him at the altar when he no longer had the money to keep up her extravagant lifestyle. Her name was Petunia Leander. He should have known with a name like that and face as delicate and soft as her namesake that she would be nothing but trouble.

About the Author-
Tyffani Clark Kemp might be the quietest person in the room, but that just means she’s probably the biggest freak too. She is a multi-genre author with a gift for the written word and a desire to help all Indies reach their full potential. In 2012, she and her best friend Kimberly Fudge started SideStreet Cookie Publishing for authors who want to remain independent, but don’t have the time or the knowledge to do it all themselves. From the age of eleven she dedicated her life to writing and making sure she was good at her craft. Now, she passes that knowledge on to others. Her friends would describe her as determined and giving. She may be quiet, but she always has a story to tell.
