Kj's Review
I was delighted to find I could pop right back into this story, I well remembered Fritz, Beynn, and their friendship. Fritz has the dagger that everyone wants, and is looking for: here starts the adventure. Across the land they travel first with Beynn following Fritz, then together. From bad to worse, to the beginnings of war, these boys show what friendship is despite all that happens. I won't say more than that but I was so invested in the book I actually groaned when it ended. Kelly Hess tells a story that anybody would like to sit and read, or have it read to them.
The story flows smoothly and you get a vivid picture of everything in your head. Just enough information to intrigue and off you go again. I wish I could have had adventures like this in my life, lol...sigh. I will have to depend upon the storytellers such as Mr. Hess to get my enjoyment. Thank you to the author for making his book available for me to read and review. I loved it! Five stars for The Green Dagger.
