I settled in to read this book, not quite
knowing what to expect, I wasn’t sure even in the beginning chapter. But as
soon as I hit the second chapter I am fully involved, and biting my nails.
Pauline Creedon certainly put a different spin on the whole zombie thing; I
quite liked it. The story takes off from there, spinning a tale of downright
terror along with the idea that a church and the people therein can help make a
bad situation better. Not that it fixes things, but it makes it livable, to
have a place of sanctuary, where your faith can sustain you.
The only thing I even vaguely had an issue
with was it ended so abruptly, although that could certainly be my take on it…anyway
I want more, much more. I recommend this book highly, it’s a really well
written story that has many of life’s lessons rolled into it. Kudos to Pauline
Creedon for this book, it’s got a depth that is refreshing in today’s shallow
more often than not society. I give this book 4 stars.
Meet The Author
In simple language, Pauline Creeden breaks down Biblical stories and applies them to real life in new ways. Her methods of teaching have brought new light to old scriptures. In her fiction, she creates worlds that are both familiar and strange, often pulling the veil between dimensions. She becomes the main character in each of her stories, and because she has ADD, she will get bored if she pretends to be one person for too long.
Pauline is horse trainer from Virginia, but writing is her therapy.
