Forget everything you know about grim reapers.

Princess Ophelia Dacre sneaks out of the castle to visit her boyfriend in secret. A perfect night cut short when she’s brutally murdered.

Ophelia is given the rare chance to become a grim reaper. She must become Leila Bele, cut ties with her old life, and follow the rules of the reapers. Her greatest adventure begins with death.

Ophelia is murdered and becomes a grim reaper but at first isn’t sure that she can do what she needs to be doing. She feels the urgent need to correct wrongs that are being done in the wake of her murder. She basically breaks a lot of reaper rules but she won’t stop until the wrongs are corrected. All she believes is also changing, new connections being made. What will happen as she tries to conform to the reaper’s lifestyle?
This story was interesting, pulled at me and I followed. A new take on reapers, like no other story I have read. Other than a couple of places where the story dragged a tad I love this book. I really can’t wait to see what happens next. I am thinking I really need to go find Ruth Silver’s other books and check them out. She is a talented author and I quite like her style. I want to thank her and Girls Heart Books Tours for making this book available to me to read and review. A four star read for me!

Ruth Silver is the best-selling author of ABERRANT, a young adult dystopian adventure series published by Patchwork Press and Lazy Day Publishing, in 2013.
